An incredible venue!
When we were looking for a wedding venue, we came across Morley old hall and instantly knew that it would be the one. The venue is incredibly beautiful and picturesque, particularly the Willow tree and garden where we held our reception. Despite having some rain on the day of the wedding, the space was so versatile that we were able to hold some of our day indoors in their Piggery which was also just as gorgeous! The place is very idyllic and aesthetically pleasing for any wedding in any weather. We just have to add as well, Portia and Hannah were absolutely amazing from the day that we picked the venue all the way through to the day of our wedding. They were so helpful, informative, accommodating, and just generally really lovely people who eager to help us where they could. Our communication with them was personal like we were talking to friends. Which made all the difference! We will be recommending MOH to others as a place to get married, one of our friends has taken up our recommendation and are due to get married there next year! So if that doesn’t say how lovely this place is, I don’t know what does.

If you’re after a bespoke DIY wedding with glorious surroundings then Morley old hall is the venue for you. Both Hannah and Portia were on hand from our first viewing right up until our wedding day. Hannah went above and beyond in helping us create the best wedding weekend ever! Nothing was too much and they accommodated our every idea. A truly memorable day we’ll never forget!

From the moment we turned down the road to this venue, We knew it was going to be the one for us. This is a private and magical venue surrounded by greenery, nature, and all you could ask for in a wedding venue. The inside has everything you could need: fully kitted out bedrooms, hall, and kitchen perfect for catering. We had a fully outdoor wedding in front of the willow tree and dinner under the trees. In the evening, the venue has perfect lighting with the hanging bulb lights to have an indoor-outdoor party. Hannah was very helpful and was always quick to answer any questions. It was honestly the most perfect day. We only saw this one venue, and we will never regret not seeing more. It's everything we could have dreamt of and more. Thank You!

Utter perfection!
What can we say about Morley, to put it simply perfect! From start to finish Hannah and Portia have been so supportive and responsive. We’ve loved every step of our journey of wedding planning at Morley to the final result on the big day and what a day it was. The grounds looked stunning, the rooms are so well put together and the backdrop made our wedding exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone, it is a perfect gem and made our special day exactly how we wanted it, full of love and laughter.

Perfect Venue for Us!
We could not recommend Morley Old Hall more for a beautiful wedding day. Portia and Hannah were welcoming, responsive and open to all ideas we had for our big day. The venue provides flexibility with your own choice of catering, decor etc and it really felt like nothing was too much. Hannah was on hand on the day incase we had any issues and we received so many compliments on the beautiful location. The price was also incredibly generous when considering the accommodation and space it provided for planning our festivities!

Dream came true wedding. From the very first viewing of Morley Old Hall we knew it was where we wanted our wedding. We viewed in January when everywhere was bleak, no leaves on the trees, cold and damp, we could see what a beautiful setting it was going to be. We watched everything come to life on our numerous visits up to our wedding in July. As it was second time round for both of us we wanted a relaxed bespoke wedding, we couldn't have wished for a better venue, Hannah was just the best guiding us through the process, the advise she gave us was invaluable allowing us to stay on budget, nothing was to much trouble, we choose all of our own suppliers which was great as it allowed us to shop around to get the best deals. The accommodation for our guests was perfect meaning that no one had to go home early allowing us to party all night. Our wedding day was perfect.

Hidden gem where dreams come true. In the search of a place to stay and celebrate our little ones’ baptisms we found Morley which had it all and more to inspire us to get married too! Portia and Hannah made it all happen for us in a very short time. I could have not asked for more. Everything went smooth, great communication, flexible and happy to go the extra mile for special moments. We occupied all their 9 bedrooms, some had extra beds arranged for children and in their solar meadow we put 6 bell tents next to the fire pit. The Piggery is so beautifully decorated that you could simply go without extra or very little accessories. There is a professional kitchen and a bar too which you can use as you wish or hire contractors to manage it all just the way you wish. We had amazing weather to make the most of the stunning orchard where we had pizza ovens and a bbq setup! In the evenings we moved next to the fire pit for marshmallows and more fun. There is a huge garden which also accommodated a bouncy castle and a play area for our little ones and not to forget their beautiful grounds available to walk around the Hall and say hi to the animals. The photos won’t do its justice, take the time to visit- it is all worth it.

Simply perfect !We had our wedding celebration party at Morley Old Hall September 2022. It was everything we ever wanted and more. We still get huge compliments from our friends on what a perfect day it was. We fell in love the moment we saw Morley Old Hall, the grounds are stunning and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Portia and Hannah made us feel incredibly welcome and gave us the confidence to make the party exactly how we wanted it. We felt part of the family when we eventually had to leave. They were laid back about things we wanted and a font of knowledge with local businesses that could possibly help. It’s great value for money and allowed us to stay within our budget while still achieving what we hoped for. We can’t wait to come back for an anniversary celebration soon!!!

A DIY dream in the countryCannot thank the whole Morley team enough! We had the most wonderful few days at Morley, choosing to book some extra time so we could enjoy the beautiful venue. What really sold Morley to us was the fact we could tailor so much of the day to how we wanted it to be with freedom over decorating, ability for friends to camp, putting out gorgeous seating areas both inside and out and bringing in our own catering and bar staff. The fully equipped kitchen and great bar area gives users flexibility over the type of catering you can choose too. The communication from Portia and the support from the ground staff during our stay was second to none. Took so much stress off us too. I know it's a cliché to say you'd do it all over again, but I absolutely would have our wedding at Morley again if we chose to.

Portia and the team at Morley Old Hall were really helpful and accommodating and made the planning of our wedding a breeze. The wedding itself was everything we dreamed of and more - we had pictures in their beautiful grounds, luxurious lodgings and space for bell tents. The converted Piggery with the wrap around deck ensured the inside space followed effortlessly out meaning we could dance under the stars. The venue had everything and facilities were the best we had seen across all the venues we visited. Portia and her team’s love for Morley Old Hall is evident in every interaction and celebrating our love in a place so special really adds to the magic! By no means the first reception ever held at Morley Old Hall, as couples have been getting at Morley St Peter's (at the end of the drive) for centuries; however, it was the first one we planned- Our own!
We'd spent a couple of years renovating the Hall and the cottages. The day before our wedding we were unloading new mattresses and hanging sheets over the windows for privacy. It's come a long way since then but we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful way to show our new home to our friends and family. A clear marquee on Willow Lawn allowed all our guests to view the beautiful Hall. A bar under the Willow tree was certainly a focal point!

Totally blown away! The most beautiful place to stay. The setting is stunning and staying in the grounds of the magnificent
manor house as a back drop is romantic and charming. Our large family family group took all the converted barns for our stayca and my we all lives in super comfort and serious style. All the barns wonderfully appointed and furnished with brill saint bath and shower rooms. The main barn used for communal cooking, dining and relaxing - also had a gym. Once evening we BBQ and ate outside and could easily have been in the South of France.. The grounds are stunning and there are pigs and goats to visit too. Having recently stayed at Morley Old Hall for a stag do of 17 people, I cannot recommend this place enough. The owners were on hand for absolutely everything and were the best hosts. Every part of the accommodation is incredible; the huge garden, the brilliant lounge area, the dining table big enough to suit our entire party - it was all perfect. I will absolutely be returning as soon as I pluck up the courage to organise another trip away for that many people!

Wonderful weekend in the Norfolk countryside
I cannot fault Morley Old Hall at all. As soon as we arrived, 12 of us for a hen do, we knew it was going to be perfect for the weekend. The grounds are beautifully well kept, and all the rooms are kitted out with exactly what you need. The Piggery is fantastic to host parties and having all the rooms in separate cottages makes it the perfect accommodation for larger groups. We were extremely well looked after by Hannah from when we arrived to when we left. It was the most fabulous weekend and I hope to return soon.

I can't do anything but a big 5* for MOH. The whole team were fantastic from start to finish. Portia was away at the time of our wedding, so in stepped Hannah and Paul to make sure everything was perfect. Not only were they making sure we were catered for and happy, they delivered 4 baby goats during our stay!
The grounds are stunning and so well maintained. Some of MOH is still a work in progress, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The small finishing touches, such as the preserves made on site, are really beautiful.
As a wedding party it was also great to be able to offer our guests the choice to camp over to save on taxis.
I will most likely have to edit this in the future as I will have missed out something... But as you've probably guessed, I would 100% recommend booking MOH. Multiple guests commented on how lovely a venue it was and they themselves are looking to make a booking in the future.

This place is a hidden gem. We had the most amazing weekend celebrating. The owner could not have been more helpful prior to and during the visit. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious. The outdoor space is stunning with lovely touches like the festoon lighting through the trees. The perfect setting for a weekend away.

We stayed in the two bedroom large barn accommodation known as the Piggery, with three teenage girls sharing a bedroom. We were not in the (beautiful) main hall. We self-catered - the Piggery has a serious catering kitchen for functions and a huge dining/reception room as well as a small multi-gym and lovely large deck (suitable for Pilates!) and spacious garden with outdoor sofas and barbecue. Croquet and badminton were on offer but we didn't get around to it. Our wonderful hostess Portia brought the fire pit for one of the nights, and you can light up the trees with fairy lights. The girls were able to feed the pigs and goats behind the hall, which has a moat! Portia recommends the nearby Boars for a gastro-pub meal when you don't want to cook - and she's right, it's fabulous. 30 mins to Norwich, 1hr to Holkham Beach. Perfect for our short Norfolk stay.
